Rev. Mrs. Mercy Opare-Addo, a nurse by profession is a product of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Korle-Bu, Accra, Ghana of the famous C13 Group. She holds a degree in Anaesthetics from Sheffield University and a diploma in Mentoring from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
Auntie Mercy as she is affectionately called, joined Royalhouse Chapel International (RCI) with her family in October, 1994 and together with her family have since served the vision of the church in remarkable and exemplary ways. She is on record as being the first female and one of the most dynamic and powerful Twi interpreters of the church, a gift which has over the years been used by God as an avenue through which many souls have been won into the kingdom of God.
While in Accra, Ghana at the headquarters of RCI, Rev. Mercy served in various capacities as the Chief Deacon, the Head of the Senior Citizens Ministry and the First Vice President of the Royal Ladies Ministries (RLM). She was inducted a Minister in the year 2000. When the Lord opened the door for her through her service, she relocated with her family to Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2002 and together with her husband, Rev. Victor Opare Addo, established the Milton Keynes Mission of RCI where they both pastor.
As a result of her excellent service, she was ordained a Reverend Minister in the year 2008. Her love and passion for Royal Ladies empowered her to lead the team of Royal Ladies executives in organising the first ever Royal Ladies Camp Meeting in the UK in 2011 for all RCI members and affiliates in Europe. She also led a team to finance the construction of a borehole in Wassa Obing, in the Western Region of Ghana, to provide the community members with portable drinking water in 2008.
She currently serves on the International Board of RLM as the First Vice President and Head of UK Missions. She is a conference speaker and also a renowned marriage counsellor and together with her husband have been used by the Lord to build and restore marriages within and outside RCI.
Rev. Mercy together with her husband are blessed with three adult children: Pastor Augustine, Pastor Rebecca and Lawyer Eunice and live in Milton Keynes, UK.
